Situated 140 km north of Melbourne in the heart of the Heathcote Wine Region, the Heathcote Golf Club is regarded as one of the best golf courses in north central Victoria. Opened in 1928 the course is home to the prestigious Ivo Whitton annual tournament, district pennant and other events.

 

The 18-hole par 71 course is approximately 5,861 metres in length. It is relatively flat with tree lined fully irrigated fairways, grass greens, water and/or bunker hazards on most holes and an abundance of kangaroos and birdlife. Facilities include practice nets, bunker and green, driving range, golf shop including cart hire and a 120 seated clubhouse with fully licenced bar, stage, kitchen, hire rooms, and separate outdoor undercover entertainment area overlooking the 18th green.
